The beauty has a reason. It is my pleasure to share the reason behind this photo:-) This five-storied pagoda was a spiritual shrine built for a high-rank samurai and as a Buddhist symbol for eternal peace of mankind. This pagoda was built using neither nails nor bolts and was so skilfully built that the wood easily withstands the natural threats of earthquake and typhoons. The same aged trees on the same slope of the same mountain were used to build the pagoda. A delicate balance was also considered in making full use of the nature and the merit of each piece of wood. That is why the five-storied pagoda, with the genius of nature, has kept its own beauty for hundreds of years.

美しいです 絶妙な諧調は神業ですね あえて浅く絞っての周辺減光でしょうか 月光を中心に吸い込まれるような感覚になります

RGBCMYKさん いつも斬新な切取りの写真を拝見させて頂いています。タイトルとのマッチングもなかなかなので参考になるところが多いと感じています^^ この時は残念ながら晴れず雲がかかってしまいましたが、いい感じに月明かりがデフューズされていたので撮影しました。撮影している間、予備の三脚とコンデジSONY RX100fM2でタイムラプス用の写真を撮影しました。２時間ぐらいかかりましたが、暗闇に中秋の満月に照らされた雲とその拡散された柔らかい光に浮かび上がる五重塔が撮影でき楽しかったです。 タイムラプス（↓） http://review.kakaku.com/review/K0000532639/ReviewCD=622803/MovieID=1699/

10pointさん ＞あえて浅く絞っての周辺減光でしょうか FFのD800Eで19mmのHyper focal distanceは4m程度なので、レンズに近い五重塔の最下部がその範囲に収まることを確認しつつ一番明るい絞り値を選定しました。 中秋の名月自体は明るく12EVくらいありますが雲でデフューズされた月明かりはだいたい3.7EV程度でした。上空には穏やかな風が吹いており、雲が若干流れ幻想的な感じになるようシャッタースピードが４秒であったので可変NDを操作して3.7段ほど光量を下げ撮影しました。
